Fun on the 4th!!

I hope all of you guys had a fun 4th and a fun weekend! I (Carrinton) know I did. Below I will share with you what I all did on the 4th, and my weekend! I didn't take any pics (bummer, I know!!). But, I do have two pics. of my drawing of the ideas Hanna and I have for the table setting challenge!!

 

Ok, on the 4th of July (Thursday morning) I headed to Clear Lake with a friend! We went boating (tubing) with a few couples then headed to the State Beach to have fun in the sand, play football in the water, and eat junk food! We had a blast!! That night we ate pizza with a whole bunch of people, then headed to the fireworks! Let me say this... Clear Lake's fireworks are awesome the coolest, loudest, awesomest, most amazing kind of fireworks I have ever seen!!! They lasted A LONG TIME! They had an amazing grand finale! So that was my 4th Of July!

 

Then on Friday, I was still at my friend's house because I spent the night. We had a big night so we both slept in then went swimming for an hour. Then she brought me home. Around 6, my mom and dad dropped me off at the softball game in town while they went to my dad's friends cabin at Crazy Acres. My mom came and picked my sister and I up around 9, so we could go out to Crazy Acres. We ate hotdogs, cookies, and watched fireworks again! Somebody lit off a crazy firework and hit a guys arm while he was reaching into the box of fireworks, so he got burnt pretty bad... He got transferred to Iowa City in a helicopter! I am hoping he is okay!

 

Then Saturday, my mom and dad went canoeing, while my sister and I stayed home. Then that night I babysat. A lot of my summer consists of babysitting, mowing the yard, and going to the pool. I also LOVE going tubing!!

 

On Sunday, we celebrated my great grandma and grandpa's 60th anniversary at the city park! We ate delicious food! I also made 3 trips to Kum and Go buying people fountain pops, because it was like 93 degrees out! I purchased 8 pops that day! I had a blast playing with my two little cousins at the park! Then, that night we just ate Shrimp Pasta and went outside!

 

Now, that was a big weekend!!! I hope you guys had as much fun as I did!
