For my first recipe, I am going with something reallllyyyy simple which is good for you!
"Christmasty" Cupcakes:
Do you remember wayyyy back in like May when I did a post on rainbow cupcakes?! Well, this is the same recipe but in a Christmas way:) I have made these cupcakes so many times in so many different colors! I love them!
Ingredients:
1 white cake mix
(All the ingredients that the box calls for)
Red food coloring
Green food coloring
Christmas cupcake liners
Directions:
Preheat your oven to the temperature the box lists. Then make your standard white cake mix. MIX THOROUGHLY!! Then, split your white batter in half in two seperate bowls. Dye one of your bowls of cake mix with green food coloring and the other with red. Then put a spoon full of each color into your cupcake liner. Make sure your cupcake is 3/4 of the way full. Half with green and half with red! After that, slip your cupcake pan into the oven and while they bake, turn on some Christmas music! :) When they are done, I suggest you frost them with white frosting (any color works, but white makes them look more "put together") And if you want, add some "Christmasy" sprinkles!!
Enjoy! :)
This is what they should look like but of course with Christmas colors!!
Fashionable Friday:
I think tomorrow, I am going to try to get Hanna to post one even though it's a Saturday!
Have a good rest of your Friday!
